2. Data we collect

Depending on how you interact with the site, we may collect:

• Takeaway orders: name, email address, phone number, order contents and pickup time.
• Contact form: name, email, phone (optional) and the message sent.
• Table reservations: name, email address, phone number, date, time, number of guests and an optional note, needed to process your reservation.
• Online payment: payment data (card, Bancontact) is processed directly by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details.

3. Purposes and legal basis

Your data is used solely to process your orders, reservations and requests (performance of a contract and pre-contractual measures), and to send you the corresponding confirmations. We do not use your data for advertising and never sell it to anyone.

4. Processors

To run the site, we rely on providers that process certain data on our behalf:

• Host: website hosting.
• Supabase (database hosting, EU): storage of orders and reservations.
• Stripe: secure payment processing.
• Resend: sending confirmation emails.
• Google Maps: map display on the Contact page.

5. Retention

We keep your data for as long as necessary for the purposes described above and to comply with our legal obligations (in particular accounting). Beyond that, it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to us at info@comptoirchouchou.be. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD/GBA), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels.
